" July xx, 2009  pm The Goff House in East Hampton, CT; We are planning a concert featuring Blackledge Flutes (using a quartet with alto and bass flutes) this ensemble has now performed a couple of times at the nearby Congregational Church. Along with the quartet, will be flute,guitar and dancer, and maybe a guitar duo to round out the day.

 

''September xx 2009 or if I can get folks June xx 2009 The Carousel Museum, Bristol CT - a program of story telling works with mixed chamber ensembles.

">Sunday - November 11,2007  2 pm Stanley Work's Auditorium NBMAA-  Variations; Blackledgemusic presents Unusual Combinations of instruments. Works include a Sextet by Vaclav Nehybel;"The Conceited(Pompous)Frog" by Dmitry Tapkoff for narrator and 3 woodwind performers; Qvartet by Dag Wiren; and more   Helene Rosenblatt, flute/piccolo;Peter Standaart -flute/narrator; Janet Rosen, oboe/English Horn;Thomas Labadorf- clarinet/bass clarinet;Chantal Hovendick -clarinet,Tom Hudson-cello, bassoon.  

< February 11, 2007  2 pm - Galleries Concert  "Music by African American Composers"  as a background to an exhibit of African American Visual Artists. Includes the World Premier of "Moambi Asante" for flute, violin and cello by Valerie Coleman (which will also be performed May 13, 2007 in a formal concert). Music by William Grant Still, Scott Joplin, Adolphus Hailstork, Duke Ellington, Paquito D'Rivera and more..........Equal Voicings - Helene Rosenblatt, flute; Mary Ellen Briga, violin; Tom Hudson, cello.

 

 Sunday, March 11, 2007 - 2 pm   Galleries Concert -  American Composers Write for Flute!!!!!!!!!

 BLACKLEDGE Flutes  - perform works for multiple flutes of all sizes - Composers include: Betsy Warren, Ellen Levy, Helen Michaelson, Alan Hovahness, Robert Starer, Gary Schocker and many others!!! Duets, trios, quartet, quintets with piccolo,Eb flute, alto flute, bass flute.  Join  Helene Rosenblatt, Dr. Mary Sand, Naomi Senza, Leonor Snow, Peter Staandart for a rousing good time.

 Blackledgemusic,Inc. goes all out.  “Allongé Dance Variations - Director Alison Bogatay and her company will join with Equal Voicings  Helene Rosenblatt, flute and Lorena Garay, quitar  with original choreography to Dr. Gwyneth Walker's "Silvermine Suite"; also on the program a formal Premier of Valerie Coleman's "Moambi Asante" with Helene Rosenblatt, flute; Mary Ellen Briga, violin; Tom Hudson, cello. Adrienne Albert's Mirror Images with BLACKLEDGE FLUTES and more....
